Ways to give

Every dollar shows up for a kid.

The Appleton Noon Optimist Club is run by volunteers, so gifts go straight into programs — scholarships, youth contests, service projects, and grants to the Fox Valley organizations we partner with.

Where your gift goes

Tell us which of these matters most to you and we will direct your gift there. If you would rather leave it to the club, we put it where the need is greatest that year.

Scholarships

Direct awards to Fox Valley students heading to college, trade school, and apprenticeship programs.

Oratorical & essay contests

Youth speech and writing competitions that build confidence and carry cash awards for the winners.

Community service projects

Food drives, seasonal giving, and hands-on volunteer days our members staff throughout the year.

Partner organizations

Grants to the local nonprofits and youth programs already doing the hardest work in our community.

Other ways to support the club

Give your time
Volunteers make every project work. Join a service day or a contest committee — you do not have to be a member to help.
Give in someone's honor
Memorial and tribute gifts can be directed to a scholarship or a specific youth program. Reach out and we will set it up.
Give through your employer
Many Fox Valley employers match charitable gifts. Ask your HR team, and we will provide whatever documentation they need.

Ready to give?

Send us a note with the amount and the program you have in mind and a board member will follow up with instructions and a receipt for your records. The club is a 501(c)(3) community service organization, so gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
