Annual fundraiser
The Optimist Golf Outing.
It is our biggest day of the year: a full field of golfers, local businesses on every hole, and proceeds that carry the club's scholarships and youth programs through the next twelve months.
A scramble with a purpose
The outing is built to be fun for every skill level — a relaxed team format, contests on the course, and plenty of time to catch up with other Fox Valley businesses and families. Club members run the day themselves, from registration to the closing raffle.
Dates, the host course, entry fees, and sponsorship levels are confirmed by the golf committee each season. The current details are always posted on our events calendar as soon as they are set, and we are happy to send them to you directly.

Hole signage and event recognition are the most popular way local businesses take part.
Where the money goes
Proceeds fund scholarships, youth contests, and grants to Fox Valley organizations serving kids.
Want to help run it?
The outing takes a crew — registration, contests, prizes, and hospitality. Volunteering for a shift is one of the easiest ways to get to know the club.
